Feb. 11, 2025, College Station, TX, USA:G-CON, the global leader in sustainable cleanroom solutions, today announced the successful completion of multiple projects in 2024 and the initiation of new projects supporting a growing backlog for the start of 2025. Project highlights include a new aseptic formulation and filling suite for a CDMO client, a new plasmid manufacturing facility for a university system, and expansion of an existing cell therapy CDMO facility. Last year also saw the grand opening of the new Just Evotec Biologics facility in Toulouse, France which used a hybrid approach for its cleanroom construction, incorporating both G-CON PODs and GCS modular components.
G-CON also initiated new projects in 2024 including a new 503A Compounding Pharmacy, expansion within an existing POD facility for packaging operations, and projects supporting new novel modalities including GLP-1s and ADCs. G-CON has also been working on its largest scale project to date for an international client that is building a new greenfield commercial vaccine manufacturing site, with delivery scheduled to start later this year. These projects will be delivered using a variety of G-CON standard and customized PODs, including its recently launched floorlessPODs, while also incorporating modular cleanroom components from its GCS portfolio.
“G-CON’s expanding POD and GCS portfolio continues to provide the industry with a wide range of cleanroom solutions that can be applied across a growing number of modalities and scales,” stated Dennis Powers, the SVP of Product & Strategy at G-CON. “And we will continue to innovate and improve our products and delivery to provide the most sustainable cleanroom solutions in support of our clients’ mission critical projects.”
